If you were thinking about coming over to our place today, I urge you to reconsider. We all have a fairly mild, but apparently very contagious, cold. You can just leave the pot of homemade chicken noodle soup on the back porch.
There is a reason (OK, there are lots of reasons) I am not a pediatrician: I really, really don't like the sound of sniffling children.
