We here on the North Coast of CA are not generally recognized as trend setters. Except when it comes to high gasoline prices. (Also: pot agriculture, logging old-growth redwood forests, attracting transients, letting salmon perish in low-flow rivers, harboring dissidents, wearing socks with Birkenstocks.)
We waited in line 20 minutes to pay $3.03.9 a gallon at Costco today. And that was $0.22 less than anywhere else.
Brace yourselves.

Hey - the North Coast of CA sounds EXACTLY like the North Coast of BC!
